Death Valley National Park

It’s a long way driving through Death Valley. You can’t help but wonder how it would have been, hundreds of years ago, to cross such a vast and inhospitable landscape on a horse, a mule, or even on foot. Just hiking in the desert’s canyons can make you feel small and lost, like an ant in a sandbox. At night this feeling grows even bigger, as you look up in awe, as countless stars illuminate the sky.
